Most units have completely switched over to the Girls First program by now. I love the new program and being able to access it from any device, but I find that without the program book, the younger girls are much less aware of the badges that they can earn.  I've created this resource for girls and parents to explain the girls first program, as well as how to access the Girls First platform.  Girls Fist Program Platform Introduction I am always looking for feedback, so if you have any ideas or changes you would like to see, please leave a comment on this post!

For our virtual meetings we have been trying to keep everything simple. Lots of games, scavenger hunts, and show and tell. I found a great bingo card generator that I thought I'd share:  https://bingobaker.com/ It has lots of pre-made cards, and you can also create you own, even without an account. It will give you a link that you can send to all of the players to print their own unique card, or they can play on a second device. The card that I made had pictures, so I printed them out and drew them out of and empty Girl Guide cookie box. I found it quite easy to use, and the Brownies had fun playing bingo over Zoom.

These are worksheets for Brownies and Guides to work on the Discovery Badges at home. This blog is mostly Brownie-focused, but since all the badges have the same name and all I had to do was change the pictures, I decided to make a Guide version as well. I started in Brownies (now called Embers) and went all the way to Rangers, as well as volunteering as a Girl Assistant with an Ember Unit for six years.
