How to Use the Girls First Platform

Most units have completely switched over to the Girls First program by now. I love the new program and being able to access it from any device, but I find that without the program book, the younger girls are much less aware of the badges that they can earn. 

I've created this resource for girls and parents to explain the girls first program, as well as how to access the Girls First platform.

Promise Posters

 With Brownies being renamed to Embers, I anticipate that a lot of Ember Units will be looking for new resources with the new promise, law, and branch name. I've made these promise posters, which would make a great aid for teaching the promise, law and motto. I made one for each branch, in English and French. The font size is quite large, so they can be printed as a full page, or multiple per page to be a more convenient size. Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth, and I've been a member of Girl Guides of Canada for 13 years. I started in Brownies (now called Embers) and went all the way to Rangers, as well as volunteering as a Girl Assistant with an Ember Unit for six years.
